Seeing the Future: Comdex’s Plans for 2022

Every organization has a vision for each year they step into. Without a business plan, a business cannot function; the same way structure is equally important for the staying-put of an organization.

In Comdex, such a thing as a vision for the year persists, which is why its development team is coming up with newer ideas and climbs… ladders that will take the cryptocurrency (a CMDX-based) decentralized exchange commodities network and its community members to next levels. But what is this vision, and what is it actually made up of?

Comdex focuses on bridging the gap between centralized and decentralized finance. Now that the network has launched a DevNet for its synthetic assets (cAssets), there is no doubt that Comdex’s plan for the year 2022, which they describe as a good year for commodities, is actually coming to pass.

Let us have a look at these plans which they call the Comdex Roadmap, and find out those which have been set in motion and those that are still currently underway.

The Comdex Roadmap 2022

The journey or path to which the Comdex community has chosen to follow this year will no doubt see the network advance to new levels.

The path includes the following:

1. The CosmWasm Mechanism.

The integration of CosmWasm was completed before the launch of Comdex’s Web App (the Synthetics DEX Devnet), to increase its effectiveness.

2. Synthetic DEX.

Already, the DevNet went live on the last day of the first quarter of the year (March, 2022). This has seen synthetic assets trading become more feasible over the past few weeks. It has also seen the synthetic assets (known as cAssets in the Comdex space) diversify.

So far, the cAssets are classified into cGOLD, cSILVER, and cOIL. More classes will be introduced as time proceeds, and yet more cAssets will be converted via collaterals (or debt assets).

Its Mainnet will be launched in the coming 2nd quarter of 2022.

3. Leveraging and Options Trading.

This is currently undergoing placement on the Synthetics DEX. It will enable you to minimize your risks and gain a higher level of benefits. This will probably be implemented during the second quarter of the year.

4. ETH Integration.

So far, the Comdex network is currently in a bid to go into partnership with Ethereum. This integration will boost the interest of Ethereum users who would be curious to know about the cAsset trading network and like to work with them as well. This will especially happen when the ShipFi system is introduced.

5. Trade Finance Hub.

This will probably be added to the Synthetics DEX Web App as the centre for connecting the physical real-world trade (centralized) finance with the decentralized finance practised in the decentralized exchange (DEX), an idea projected as the forerunner to the ShipFi vision.

6. The USCX token.

To be launched in the early last quarter of 2022, as Comdex’s stablecoin, primarily for converting real-world commodities into synthetic cAssets.

7. The ShipFi Technology.

This will be introduced after the USCX token is launched, and (as earlier stated) will be used for carrying out transactions between the real-world and decentralized finance, via the Trade Finance Hub, with broader options and features inputted.

8. $SHIP Token

The SHIP token will furthermore be released after the ShipFi technology is launched, as its main unit of currency, besides the official CMDX token (which is the principal currency for the Comdex community as a whole).
